Robert Barrow

Robert Barrow has served as our Chief Executive Officer since June 2021 and as a director of Definium Therapeutics since December 2021, overseeing the transformation of our organization and research and development pipeline. Under his leadership, the company has evolved into a leading biotechnology organization forging a new era of psychiatry by harnessing the full therapeutic potential of psychedelic medicine. Prior to his current position, he served as our Chief Development Officer and Senior Vice President of Development from January 2021 to June 2021. Mr. Barrow previously served as the founder of Jasper Biopharmaceutical Advisors from July 2020 until January 2021, where he provided consulting services to a number of pharmaceutical companies. Prior to that, Mr. Barrow served as Director of Drug Development & Discovery at the Usona Institute from January 2019 to July 2020, where he oversaw the organization’s research and development activities. Prior to joining the Usona Institute, Mr. Barrow served as Chief Operating Officer and a director of Olatec Therapeutics, LLC, a private, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, from 2011 to 2018. Mr. Barrow has also served as both a technical and business adviser to numerous pharmaceutical organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Barrow holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacology from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Wake Forest University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
